China Vending Show is the only largest and most professional international event on vending and OCS, self-service and kiosk industries in China. It was first created in 2004 and held annually in Shanghai with a history of 9 years up to now. This exhibition is organized by All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce and China Tongyuan Corporation and administrated by Shanghai Tiansheng Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Highlights Business Management Consulting Co., Ltd. This show also obtains international support from National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), European Vending Association (EVA) and Japanese Vending Machine Manufacturers Association (JVMA) and many other international communities.
According to the statistics of last show in 2011, there are a total of 79 exhibitors including 30 international exhibitors and 49 Chinese exhibitors. The total exhibition floor area is about 6000 sq.m. where international exhibitors occupies 38% of total show space whilst Chinese exhibitors occupies 62%. International famous brands include: MEI & CONLUX, N&W, NECTA, RHEA VENDORS, BIANCH, KUBOTA, SANDEN, FUJI BINGSHAN, NRI, CASHCODE, COINCO, JCM, ASTROSYSTEMS, CREM, LAIV, REGILAIT, GEANT, HAPPYLINE/WELLMARK, COMPONENTI, FUID-O-TECH, SKPM/YUYI, FUJITSU, KYOCERA, AMSYS, HENTEL, POINTMAN, etc. Chinese famous brands include: AUCMA, UBOX, ERSSER, YILE/LE VENDING, KIMMA, BAIXUE, LEIYUNFENG, JUNPENG, MAKE LOCKS, HAPPYPOLE, SAPOE, HEALTHY, YUAN FU, RONGTAI, PHENIX, GRG, BKM, ANYTOUCH, etc.
According to the visitors’ statistics of last show, the total number of visitors is 7,984 persons, including 6,658 Chinese visitors (83.4%) and 1,326 international visitors (16.6%). Among the international visitors, 64% of visitors from Asia, 18% from Europe, 8% from North American, 5% from Oceania, 2% from South America, 0.6% from Africa, and 2% from other regions. International visitors and buyers came from 40 countries and regions. Most of them came from the Asian market including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as from adjacent countries including Australia, Russia, and India, etc.
A variety of vending machines are showcased as you can imagine, not only including traditional beverage and snack vending machines and coffee vending machines, but also many new and innovative machines aimed to meet various self-service market demands, such as those vending machines for selling iPhones, MP3&4, batteries, garments, newspapers and magazines, squeezed orange juice, ice and water, pizza, and coin-operated massage chairs, etc. There is a new trend in the Chinese vending industry that, new types of vending machines are designed in combination with the digital signage and touchscreen technology. Nearly 80% of the Chinese manufacturers exhibited their vending machines with touch screen and digital signage functions, which will have huge market potential in the Chinese public ad business.
With the fast development of the Chinese vending industry in term of manufacturing capacity and market demands in recent years, it is expected that the China Vending Show will have a continued growth in its exhibition floor area and number of participants (exhibitors and visitors) and ambitiously become the largest vending and self-service show in Asia. The 9th China International Vending & Kiosk Show 2012 will be held on June 27-29 (Wednesday thru. Friday) at Shanghai Mart (99 Xingyi Road) in Shanghai, China.
